Auction Consignment
Auction consignment in Southern California
For the right pieces, a public online auction can bring a stronger price. We place your items with the auction venue best suited to their category, in front of bidders worldwide. Items typically sell in 30–60 days, and you're paid about 10 days after the sale.
When consigning makes sense
Consign when you have high-value pieces with strong auction demand and can wait 30–60 days. If you'd rather have a quick, certain outcome, we can buy outright instead and pay you at pickup. We recommend the route after evaluating your items — compare the two.
Only items we're confident will sell
We assess current market demand before taking anything in, so unsold consignments are rare. We work with a network of auction house partners, locally and across the country, and pick the most appropriate venue for each item based on its category.

Common questions
Should I sell outright or consign to auction?
It depends on your items and your timeline. Selling outright means you are paid when we pick the items up — fast and certain. Consigning means your items sell at a public online auction, typically in 30–60 days, which can bring a stronger price for the right pieces. We recommend a route after evaluating your items.
What happens if my consigned items don’t sell?
Unsold consignments are rare, because we only accept items we are confident will sell at auction. We assess market demand before taking anything in, explain the commission and expected timeline upfront, and pay you about 10 days after the sale.
What is your commission?
It depends on the total value of the items we pick up. We tell you the exact rate for your items before you commit to anything, so there are no surprises.
When do I get paid?
For outright purchases, you are paid when we pick up the items. For consignments, you are paid about 10 days after your items sell at auction, which typically happens 30–60 days after consignment.
How do you determine what my items are worth?
We price items on current market demand and resale value. Our family has bought and sold antiques and fine goods in Southern California since 1989, including running our own auction house and retail store, so we know what things actually sell for — and we make fair, transparent offers.
How do I get started?
Send photos of your items or the estate contents, plus the property location — through the form on this site, by email, or by text to (949) 505-5527. The evaluation is free and there is no obligation. We review every submission personally and respond within 24 hours.
Thinking of consigning?
Send photos of your items. We'll tell you honestly whether they suit auction.
